Local Press and Brew is a 15 minute drive outside of Dallas. I don’t have classes on Fridays and love to explore the city I’m living in- always on the hunt for low-key study spots and yummy eateries. I had heard of Local Press and Brew through a friend, and thought I’d decide for myself how it ranked amongst the others.
The location is right off a major highway, which was disappointing and noisy. However, they did a fantastic job of creating quaint outside eating areas and even had a bar window, for a quick juice if you’re grabbing and going.
There are two separate twin cafes, that serve similar but different food items- one is chic and the other is biker themed and rustic. The menu consisted of hang pressed juices, coffee specialities, and breakfast sandwiches. The service was good and so was my avocado toast- not the very best I’ve ever had but certainly very far from the worst.
Overall, 7/10 experience
